Frequently asked questions
Everything you wanted to know about learning with Dinglish.
- Is Dinglish really free? During our launch offer, everything is free — all levels and tools. After launch, A1 stays free on every path; A2+ is Dinglish Plus at $2.99/month (50% off $4.99). See /pricing.
- What is CEFR and why does it matter? CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is the international standard for measuring language ability, with six levels from A1 (beginner) to C2 (mastery). Our courses follow this framework so your progress is universally recognised.
- Which languages can I learn? You can currently learn German, English and Hindi — with six learning paths available: German for English/Hindi speakers, English for German/Hindi speakers, and Hindi for English/German speakers.
- Do I need to create an account? No. Just open any course and start learning. Your progress is stored locally on your device.
- How long will it take to become fluent? It depends on your goal level and how much time you can dedicate. Most learners reach A2 in 2–3 months of consistent practice, B1 in 6 months, and B2/C1 in a year or more.
- What's inside each chapter? Every chapter includes vocabulary cards with examples, interactive grammar with conjugation tables and quick checks, real-world dialogues, writing tasks, a workbook with mixed exercises, exam prep, and speaking practice.
- Can I use Dinglish on my phone? Absolutely. Dinglish is fully responsive and works great on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Will you add more languages? We're actively expanding. French, Spanish and more language pairs are on the roadmap.
